500,000 forints, will that be enough to live comfortably in Budapest? Considering I also want to find a job ( I only speak english) . I mean to live comfortably how much is it that you really need to make? 500,000 huf a month.....

It depends on your needs... I'd be very happy with only 200 000 HUF/month. For accomodation and bills you need around 100 000 HUF, and if you don't want to eat at fancy restaurants every time, 50 000 HUF should be enough for food. Finding a job won't be very easy, however, if you speak only English and have no good qualification. The best is to try it and you'll see for yourself. Budapest is not the most expensive place to live in the world, but it's not very cheap.

500K/month... is the Prime Minister's (official) salary. 500K/year? Forget it. Also, remember that taxes are around 60% altogether.
