Recently I've got an unlocked LG Fathom and it says I need to activate my phone. I live in Hungary, so I don't really know what this means. What are the benefits of activation? What are the disadvantages if I don't activate my phone?

you will need to activate it the number is *228 the * is a star and i belive you will need to activate it to have service to make calls and texts
