My great uncle just passed away Tuesday. I'm trying to find out his date of birth. He was born in the country of Hungary. But lived his life here in the States. Any idea on how I'd find out his birthday?

If he died in the United States, someone will apply for his Social Security Death Benefit. When that happens his name, birth-date, death-date and number will be posted on the Social Security Death Index and will be available on the internet. Meanwhile, you might ask his next of kin.

you should have entered your uncles name people will send you to pay sites in a heart beat . if he had social security the answer can be found with out paying .
