How does Paypal work

How does Paypal work?
Its an easy question for you i think. So when i order sth from the USA and I live in Hungary then i have hungarian money on my account. So if i want to pay, will paypal change the money for me? Another question: ive heard that you can get back the money if the thing you ordered hasnt arrived. But how does this work? There could be ppl who order they pay, they get the thing they ordered, and then just claim the money back. Last question:): Can i make a bank account for paypal only(just to store money on it, to send & get money electronically)?

I live in Canada and PayPal automatically converts my money to American dollars. As for getting a refund, it's best when the seller hasn't mailed your order yet. Ask for a refund as early as you can, he/she will return your money via PayPal. If you go to "Payments Received" on your PayPal account, it will show you whether the seller has returned your money or not. If they haven't and it's been a while, you must contact ebay's security staff. Hoped I helped.

1) Paypal will automatically convert the funds to US Dollars, and deduct Hungarian funds from your account 2) The Seller ships the item with means of electronic tracking, meaning when the item is delivered, it will show up as delivered, so dishonest people can not just say they did not receive the package. If the Seller is smart they will ship with delivery confirmation. If in fact your item does not arrive, then you can open a dispute with paypal, to see about getting your money back. 3) Yes you can open an account for just paypal funds, this is what I did, that way if someone does happen to get your paypal id and password, they can only access that small account.
