How to be Self Employed in the US but be based in Europe

How to be Self Employed in the US but be based in Europe?
I live in Hungary and I am looking to open a US business. Is this possible if I am an American citizen? I also want to tax all my earnings from the business according to the US tax laws. I want to be self employed and register my business in the US but be based out of Hungary. I would be very grateful for any insight, or advice on how this can be possible. Thank you in advance.

It depends on the business You want to start. Fe.: - An internet "shop" can be operated from the US even You resides in Hungary. - If You work for a company, there will be no problem, as You can issue an invoice for that company, and You can get the money by a bank transfer later. - If You want to do a local merchandise, than it's not possible, as the european stores MUST work by the local tax laws, and must issue the invoices in the local currencies. There are several more rules exists for special businesses, so I suggest to ask a hungarian based tax expert. This is necessary, as You can be sure, this person will know about the "offshore" businesses, just like the Delaware based US companies :)
